First workshop on project management – pre-grant activities (23-24 November 2022, Belgrade, Serbia)

The 2-day workshop within the BIOLAWEB project (WP5) was held by Herve Dumont and Antoine Moatti from the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE), at the University of Belgrade, Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy (UB-ICTM) in Belgrade. Research supporting staff, and experienced and early-stage researchers at UB-ICTM had a great opportunity to learn about pre-grant activities, how to prepare budget and how to analyze a call. Furthermore, the UB-ICTM research and administrative staff expressed their opinions on the functioning of new International Research Management Office (IRMO) at UB-ICTM. The lessons learned were a valuable first step into UB-ICTM development toward its goals of gaining more knowledge related to project proposal submission in different EU calls. Members of UB-ICTM were excited and happy to enjoy this opportunity.
